Building Requirements:Some of the Army Camp settings can differ per world (an asterisk (*)has been placed behind the description of variable settings) , pleasesee the Announcements Forum Section and the individual World Forum Sections for world-specific data.Tribal Privileges Only Dukes and Barons can start the construction of an Army Camp.
Gold Coins*
Constructing Army Camps requires a specified amount of gold coins, which may differ per world. The costs for the construction of an ArmyCamp are drawn from the tribe’s coin stock to which members can chooseto donate their gold coins.
Points*
The maximum number of Army Camps a tribe can maintain at a single timeis determined by the amount of points said tribe has. The amount ofpoints required per Army Camp can differ per world. In World 47 theamount of points required per Army Camp is 1,000,000 (1 million).
This means that if a tribe has 999,999 points on W47 it will be unableto construct any Army Camps, whereas if the tribe has 5,000,000 (5million) it will be allowed up to 5.
If the points of a tribe fall under the minimum amount that was neededto build their Army Camps, the Army Camps and Construction Sites willcontinue as normal.
Army Camp Limit*
There is a set total amount of Army Camps allowed per tribe. Once thatamount of Army Camps has been reached no Army Camp construction can bestarted until the amount of Army Camps drops below the limit. For W47the Army Camp limit is 15.
Constructing Army Camps:Army Camps can be constructed via the map. They can be constructed onany blank, green square, meaning not on: Lakes, Forests, Mountains,Villages, Army Camps, or other Construction Sites.
If a spot has been chosen for the Army Camp, a Construction Site willappear on the map. It is at this time the Gold Coins required for theconstruction will be removed from the tribe’s stock.
The Construction Site will become an Army Camp as soon as the first troops arrive at its location.
Features:As previously mentioned, some Army Camp settings can differ perworld (an asterisk (*) has been placed behind the description ofvariable settings) , please see the Announcements Forum Section and the individual World Forum Sections for world-specific data.Below is a quick overview of some of the Army Camp's properties.
VisibilityArmy Camps and Construction Sites are visible on the map to all players.
Battles in the Army CampArmy Camps can be attacked by any player, just like villages. This doesnot apply to Construction Sites, which are unattackable. If an ArmyCamp should be attacked and all troops there defeated, the Army Campwill be destroyed. When an Army Camp is attacked all troops present inthe Camp before the attack will participate in its defence.
In Worlds containing
Churches; troops present in, and troops attacking from an Army Camp have full belief - meaning 100% combat effectiveness.
Units in Army Camps receive no defensive or offensive bonuses - though Paladin weapons function as usual.
Army Camps can be scouted (with Scouts).
Army Limit*
Only a certain amount of armies may be stationed at or en-route to anArmy Camp at any given time. Once the Army Limit for a Camp has beenreached, no more troops can be sent to that Army Camp until an army hasleft the Camp, either through destruction or receiving an order. Notethat armies do not return to the Army Camp after completing theirmissions.
Armies are defined as being any amount of troops sent to the Army Camp with a single command.
Army Camp Lifetime*
An Army Camp exists only for a certain amount of time - after a set amount of time it is automatically destroyed.
Armies stationed at the Camp will be returned home. Armies on their wayto the Camp to either attack or support will have their trip cancelled, and thus also return home. Armies on their way
fromthe Army Camp to their destination will continue on their journey. Oncetheir mission has been completed they will return to their home village.
Combining ArmiesArmies cannot be combined. Armies can only be sent from the Army Camp in the same way they arrived - individually.
When an Army Camp is attacked all troops present in the Camp before theattack will participate in its defence, as with any normal village.
Army Camp Upgrades and BonusesArmy Camps cannot be upgraded and receive no bonuses (as opposed to ifthere was a village wall present). Paladin weapons however continue tofunction as usual. Army Camps only serve as a temporary collectionpoint for armies.
